Monthly is $35 and lifetime is $150. I play 2k pretty hard right now but I've flipped from every 2k after like 3 months. Is lifetime a trap or is it the better deal? Trying not to waste money

Quick math: $150 divided by $35 is about 4.3, so lifetime pays for itself on month 5. If you'd only use it for 2 or 3 months, monthly is cheaper. If you'd go 5+, lifetime wins on paper.

ok but that assumes I'm still playing in month 5, which is the whole problem lol

Right, so that's your answer. Be honest with yourself about how long you'll actually play.

Also "lifetime" for what though. Lifetime of the 2k26 product or all future games? Those are not the same thing.

Good question. The product page lists lifetime as a one-time $150 payment with no renewal, and monthly as $35 for a month of access. Both include the same feature set. For how lifetime access is handled when a new 2K version comes out, please check the FAQ or ask in a ticket before buying so you have it in writing.

I'd start monthly just to see if the setup even works on your PC. The requirements list is no joke. If your machine can't run it, you just saved $115 lol

yeah check that first. HVCI, secure boot, TPM, all of it. Thread's in setup help.

and monthly means no commitment if 2K does something dumb with the game. which, it's 2K, so
